BACKING TRACKS

Choices and value - why are Beehouse Recording Experiences such good value?

Beehouse Recording Experience vouchers are available for the Public direct from the recording studio - therefore there is no middle man - the cost of the recording experience represents the professional studio fee for the time used. This sets us aside from other experiences suppliers who absorb some of the profits of the recording experiences. We are also specialist in that we do not handle other types of experience. Having said this, we do offer a staggering range of music experiences which you can take part in. please click here for our music experiences page to see what we can offer.

To enable us to work well with the variety of demands made on us by various customers, we like to know as much as possible about our recording experience customers prior to their recording studio session.

To start with, we encourage recording experience artists to discuss their days with us in great detail before work begins. We also offer a full five hour day in the recording studio. This gives us a chance to get to know the aims and objectives of our recording experience clientele before they set foot in the studio. For us, the recording process involves knowing and understanding the motivations of our guests, and dealing with personalities rather than schedules.

The full five-hour day still only costs £199.75, a figure which includes a great many hidden extras, such as the provision of a great choice of backing tracks, vocal and microphone coaching, the cutting of your final product to CD*. We now also offer a two day package at £350, which is 10 hrs of recording, vocal coaching, production, and again the final CD cutting. Both these packages represent extremely good value for money, and result in a highly commercial product. The best of both worlds.

In addition, and catering mostly for lighter requirements, children and young people, we now also offer a three hour mini recording experience at £135. this is the minimum time we feel comfortable offering our customers for that truly professional finish.

A wide variety
Because the Beehouse is a commercial recording studio, we prefer to cover as wide a variety of musical genres as possible. therefore we will be happy to cover virtually any style of music, including pop, classical, musical showtunes, country and western, soul, dance, punk, rock of many different types, indie, world music, DJ styles and electronica, opera, light music, Welsh songs, traditional folk and any style you are interested in performing. For better known styles we may use backing tracks, for rarer requests, we may have to develop backing music in house.
Instruments are welcome at the studio besides the voice, and we have in the past catered for the guitar, the piano, drums, saxophone, violin, bass, harp, psaltery, keyboards, organ, recorder and French horn, and we are happy to continue widening our musical recording repertoire! Instrumental music may either be recorded with or without other instruments and vocals. Customer Care
Because of the particular emphasis we lay on customer care and on ensuring that each recording artist receives not only a fantastic first-hand experience of a real recording studio, but a totally professional end product, we attract customers from most parts of the UK, and even overseas in some cases. There do not currently appear to be any rival to the Beehouse for the sheer quality of customer interaction and finished product. We do not generally carry out shorter experiences because, as a commercial studio, we are concerned that all of our products should reflect the same quality as our professional work. Please click here to read some of our customer comments.

The reason our finished CDs are so universally appreciated is because the Beehouse is a totally commercial professional studio. Recording studio experience customers are handled with the same degree of professionalism as every other customer who books. Whether simply singing to backings or with your own tracks to record, our attitude is the same - every CD that leaves the studio has been brought to a high standard commercially, by staff who are fully focused on your music, and achieving what you want with it.

The experience is also a lot of fun - most of you arrive determined to enjoy yourselves, some bring friends or relatives - and some friends or relatives join in! We're in a stunning location in an isolated valley on the Wales Shropshire border, very convenient for Birmingham, the Midlands, Cheshire, Derbyshire and the like, as well as further afield. One of our recording studio experience customers actually came from Abu Dhabi! "The overall experience was very enlightening. It's amazing to see just how much hard work goes into recording songs, and it makes you appreciate the songs in the charts more. No matter how appalling you think they are, a lot of time and effort goes in to make the finished product. I am very happy with the finished product, and hope to go back in the near future to finish my own song and record it. I would recommend Beehouse Studios to anyone, whether they are a professional artist or just someone who wants to record a song for an experience. They are wonderful people and they do a great job."
(Lydia Gray, Montgomery, Wales

)"The recording process was a very enjoyable experience - laidback but productive, and we were never made to feel pressured by time restraints etc. We felt in control of the product, for example if weren't satisfied with a particular sound, Phil would experiment and alter the sound until the desired result was achieved. Phil put emphasis on the quality of the overall product and even did additional mixing in his own free time. The tracks were mixed, mastered & then duplicated according to how many CDs were required. The finished CD exceeded our expectations and we would recommend Beehouse Studios to anyone who is looking for a professional but friendly place to make a demo."
(Rob Brown & Si Howes, NEVERFADE, Oswestry, Shropshire)

"It's been a really memorable experience, a really unique present and I'm left with something truly professional. Thank you very much!"
(Ilsa Moon, teacher, Swansea)

"These people really care about my music and at last the feeling of rejection & frustration has disappeared.
At last I feel I have a chance."

(Andrew Harris, Llangammarch Wells, Powys)

*CDs are routinely completed on the day of recording. There may occasionally be delays in the production of the final CD due to additional requirements on the part of the customer or for technical reasons or other reasons beyond our control. In these cases we would ask the patience of our customers whilst the final product is produced.
