We only take one booking per day and we guarantee that you will have our entire focus for the time that you are booked. Our sessions are relaxed and fun, but the end results reflect a high order of care and attention to detail.
The Beehouse recording studio functions both as a commercial studio and an experiences studio. This means that recording artists get the best of both worlds - experiences are fun and enjoyable, but you can always rest assured that you will go home with a professional-sounding product. We never book more than one recording session in a day, whatever the length, so you can guarantee you will have our entire attention for the time that you have purchased. We enjoy a sociable and friendly relationship with our customers.
Value for money
Because you are not going through a middle man, or marketing agency, the cost of your experience is entirely reflected in the work we do for you. You will get a top grade engineer or music producer with the experience and personal skills to get the very best out of you. If you buy through another organisation, they will obviously take their cut of the cost, meaning that up to 50% of your recording costs will be absorbed by the marketing agency.
Flexibility
As a recording studio involved in many different types of project, we like to think we are able to cope with most recording situations, and won't be at all put out if you decide you want to spend what was to be a recording studio experience singing to backings into one where you play the Tuba and record Shakespeare sonnets! In fact we love creativity, and often those who come to record their vocals onto backing tracks also have songwriting ideas they would like to try out. A few days' notice for a change of plan is always handy, but the experience day exists for you to find out as much as you can about whatever aspect of recording interests you. Vocalists can therefore work on main vocals, backing vocals, vocal special effects, or whatever else takes their fancy, and we will do our best to accommodate this! In that respect we feel we are unique on the market at present.

Beehouse Recording Experience vouchers are available for the public direct from the recording studio - therefore there is no middle man - the cost of the recording experience represents the professional studio fee for the time used. This sets us aside from other experiences suppliers who absorb some of the profits of the recording experiences. We are also specialist in that we do not handle other types of experience. To enable us to work well with the variety of demands made on us by various customers, we like to know as much as possible about our recording experience customers prior to their recording studio session.
To start with, we encourage recording experience artists to discuss their days with us in great detail before work begins. We also offer a full five hour day in the recording studio. This gives us a chance to get to know the aims and objectives of our recording experience clientele before they set foot in the studio. For us, the recording process involves knowing and understanding the motivations of our guests, and dealing with personalities rather than schedules.
The full five-hour day still only costs £199.75, a figure which includes a great many hidden extras, such as the provision of a great choice of backing tracks, vocal and microphone coaching, the cutting of your final product to CD*. We now also offer a two day package at £350, which is 10 hrs of recording, vocal coaching, production, and again the final CD cutting. Both these packages represent extremely good value for money, and result in a highly commercial product. The best of both worlds.
In addition, and catering mostly for lighter requirements, children and young people, we now also offer a three hour mini recording experience at £135. this is the minimum time we feel comfortable offering our customers for that truly professional finish.
