The songwriter experience is where the Beehouse offers a completely unique service. Creativity is our greatest strength and specialism and we operate as a team to bring your song or song idea rapidly from something as little as a hummed tune, set of lyrics, or basic harmony and melody, to a full-blown arrangement and recording.

Little can equal the pleasure of having taken part in the production of your own song or music, and this experience is often enjoyed equally for its therapeutic qualities and its creativity.

The songwriting workshop starts with the arrangement, unless you are already past that stage yourself. You sing your tune/lyrics or play back a recording, and our arranger works out harmonies which match your ideas. If you play an instrument such as the guitar or piano, you may already have completed this phase. The harmonies are then constructed into an approximate backing and melody in the recording studio, using midi instrumentation. At this point you work with the producer to add other instruments such as bass, drums, violins, cello, piano or whatever inspires you. You will also re-sing the vocals or to add further vocals using your own voice or your singer's voice.The final product is cut to disc.
